Cute but deeply flawed
Pros:
- Good art
Cons:
- jumping controls are brutally inconsistent. Jumping normally has about a 80% success rate; double-jumping has about a 50% success rate. Even worse if youre jumping from a moving platform, which is required to progress in several places.
- your primary adversaries are disappearing blocks that crumble when you touch them, causing you to fall or not be able to jump. Theres no way to find these except trial and error. Its a cheap and frustrating mechanic.
- the gameplay is uninspired; your character doesnt move in an interesting way and isnt fun to control.
- the puzzles are very simple.
